This tool obviously was built with linemen in mind. If a lineman could design and build their own, this is it. This thing has the power to get it done quickly. It is through the material before I expected it to be. It’s fast! It has the 7/16” QUICK-LOC chuck for quick, easy and secure changes. The handle is longer making it more comfortable to use with gloved hands. There is a very well-made and secure ring mounted on top for your tether. It uses the popular M18 battery and comes with a charger and an inverter, so you can charge it in the truck. This would be great to use on some fence building or anywhere boring through thick wood is needed. This has the ONE KEY so you can customize, track and manage the tool. The ONE KEY pens up a whole new world of tool management. There’s a five year warranty on the tool. It’s a monster. It gets the job done quicker. It’s a very well-made and designed tool. One of the most impressive tools I’ve ever used.

This is a well built and very strong. It has the nice long handle but it is not too long to get in the way. The 7/16 Hex key is great. It is extremely strong. It broke a 5 inch 3/8 lag head off a bolt just from the impacts. That is overkill for this drill but it is all I had to test it on. The gears are easy to manipulate. It has a great ring on the top of it to clip it to a lanyard if you are up on a ladder. I love the 7/16 hex key. I did not think I would because it is an impact wrench but I like having one machine that I can put different size anvils in it. saves me money and space in my tool box. It also come with a Inverter for the Car.

If you are looking for a heavy duty 7/16 Impact wrench, then look no further. On setting 4, this impact is a beast. There are 4 settings of which I keep it on 2 or 3. I bought a 7/16 inch to ½ inch adapter that works great. It also has a One-Key feature that allows you to track down your tool if you lose it or if someone steals it. The bag is of good quality. I really like the fact that it comes with a dc to ac inverter. You can plug in the charger for your batteries on the go. Great machine and recommended!

Milwaukee does it again with another great power tool. This this has handled every nut and bolt I have tossed at it and I don’t even think it has broken a sweat. The ONE-KEY is just a nice extra feature on this and it makes it fun to play with. I Love this M18 line and the M12 aint to bad. Milwaukee has won me over with this and many of their other tools.

This is a “Linemen’s” model from Milwaukee’s line of impact wrenches. What does that mean? It is designed for use by utility pole workers. The unusual 7/16″ hex quick-release chuck fits tools often used by such workers, including an auger for drilling holes through wooden poles. For use with sockets, you’ll need a 7/16″ to 1/2″ (or 1/4″) adapter. Home Depot sells Milwaukee’s version of this (Milwaukee part 48-32-5100); there are compatible adapters from other manufacturers. Milwaukee also offers this tool with other chuck styles that may be more appropriate if you’re not working on utility poles.The tool itself is quite heavy, which explains the chunky suspension loop bolted to the top. You can remove this if you want. There are four modes (speeds) preset that can be selected through a control on the handle. A bright LED at the front of the handle illuminates the chuck area. This kit includes two M18 (18V) 5Ah batteries and a charger, plus a rugged carrying bag.This wrench is part of Milwaukee’s One-Key system that opens up many more features. One most interesting to the individual owner is that, by pairing the tool to a phone over Bluetooth and using the One-Key app, you can change any of the four programmed speed modes to your liking. An option available only through the app is to set reversing to full-speed, no matter what the driving speed is.The One-Key app also lets you register the tool with your One-Key account and there you can track the status of all your One-Key enabled devices. You can even lock the tool so that it can’t be used without the paired phone to unlock it.I was very impressed with how well it worked as an impact wrench – it is easily the most powerful one I have ever used. I have quite a few M18 tools now and the batteries last a long time.
